How to: Change the default behavior for selecting form/report controls.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, select a radio button from the 'Selection Behavior' group of the 'Forms/Reports' tab, and click 'Apply' or the 'OK'.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Forms/Reports' tab.
3) Do one of the following in the 'Selection Behavior' group:
the Selection Behavior group
a) Select the 'Partially Enclosed' radio button to allow selecting a control when only a part of the control is covered by the selection area.
b) Select the 'Fully Enclosed' radio button to allow selecting a control only when the selection area covers the entire control.
4) Do one of the following:
a) Click 'Apply' to apply the new settings and keep the 'Options' dialog box open.
NOTE: Click 'Apply' when there are changes that need to be made to settings on another tab. This avoids having to re-open the 'Options' dialog box.
b) Click 'OK' to apply the new settings and close the 'Options' dialog box.
